Miss Cricket Field's official portrait by me, her flock mate. She was one of the best pets we ever had. She only lived a short 3 years. She was my feathered friend, my muse and she still has her own Facebook page. Her job was 'Artist's Model' and she really was just that in spades! Miss you my little buddy!

Hello! And thank you to all the THOUSANDS of visitors to my Fine Art America online art gallery! Growing up in Needham, Massachusetts I was influenced by the paintings and illustrations of N. C. Wyeth who lived in Needham and donated the paintings he used for books and magazines to the Needham Public Library. They have a great collection of his artwork there now. This is where I would go to immerse myself in his artwork and the artwork of all the book illustrators. Ludwig Bemelmans became another of my favorites and so I became a watercolorist and muralist at an early age. I spent my high school years taking Saturday classes at Mass College of Art in Boston and spent quite a bit of time in the art department at Needham High School...
