Artist's Description

My impression of what it was like seeing the seals hauled out onto the sand at Chatham Bars and knowing the sharks were circling them to eat them. When the seals were all together by the hundreds, they would start singing a moaning sound that sounded like wind in the eaves, very strange, eerie, a siren sound like no other sound I have ever heard by the sea.

About Jean Pacheco Ravinski

Jean Pacheco Ravinski

Hello! And thank you to all the THOUSANDS of visitors to my Fine Art America online art gallery! Growing up in Needham, Massachusetts I was influenced by the paintings and illustrations of N. C.
